ORGANIZATION: Make-A-Wish Minnesota

What We Do: Make-A-Wish Minnesota seeks to bring every eligible child's wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and more than 650 volunteers across the state, grant a wish every 27 hours, on average, somewhere in Minnesota.

Who We Are: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Since 1982, Make-A-Wish Minnesota has granted more than 5,000 wishes to children in Minnesota. Our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. We're on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life - a goal that is born from the idea that a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment.

Wishes would not be possible without our wonderful Wish Granters! If you would like to share your passion and enthusiasm by supporting Minnesota wish kids and their families in this way, Make-A-Wish Minnesota is excited to offer an in-person Wish Granter training on Tuesday, October 23rd at the Make-A-Wish North Dakota Office!

Please email Volunteer Services if you would like to attend or if you have any questions about wish granting!
