Afterschool opportunity for future educators who enjoy video games and/or game design

ORGANIZATION: GAMER SOCIETY

  • 2 people are interested

Gamer Society is looking for energetic future educators who think quick on their feet and love storytelling and/or the video game culture.

Our afterschool program uses an online programming tool to demonstrate programming principles through the popular video game Minecraft.

It's also important candidates are a good culture fit with the team. A good fit candidate believes in leaving this world a better place, as well as experimentation and iteration over perfection. A good fit candidate also believes in putting the needs of the students and parents we serve first, the needs of the team second, then their own needs third.

Classroom management skills are a BIG plus.

Programming experience is also a plus, but not required.
