Storehouse Customer Care Volunteer. The Storehouse, New Mexico's largest food pantry, provides over 1.7 million meals a year to individuals and families in need, but we can’t do it without the help of volunteers. Ongoing volunteer duties include sorting and repackaging food, helping clients with food, directing client traffic during food distribution, and other miscellaneous tasks. Days and times vary. Adelante is a locally founded nonprofit 501(c)3 human service agency with locations throughout New Mexico. A
Adelante was formed in 1978, a time when ideas such as independence, rights, choice and respect were emerging. The agency embraced those concepts and decided to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Since then, Adelante has taken the opportunity to expand services as needs have arisen. Today, the agency is a diverse nonprofit organization that supports people with mental and physical disabilities, seniors, and disadvantaged populations across New Mexico. We innovate to meet the needs of the community.
