RECORDED RECREATIONAL READING FOR THE BLIND
Third of three primary roles to be filled in the RRRB hierarchy of operations. The online radio station is KRUVradiosun and, for the present time, the functions of station manager and program director would be combined. This job would involve all that is implied by the actual working titles. The station would be managed and the programs directed by this individual. This position oversees and directs the announcers, the various announcements, station breaks, programs and musical content. Experience background would necessarily need to contain some actual time of life spent in the radio communications field. This responsibility would function under the direction of operating corporate officer(s).

RRRB, Inc has a long history of dedicated people that have built and continue to maintain its services. For more than 40 years, we have been evolving with the times and technologies. Subscribership, recorded materials and the volunteer base also continue to grow. 1971: A small group of volunteers begin tape recording local news for visually or physically challenged Sun City, Arizona residents. 1980: New studios completed on Lions Club property by the Del Webb Corporation and cassette recording operations are transferred from the Sun City Professional Building. 2006: Driven by new volunteers in a new technological era, the studios begin a gradual changeover to digital recording. 2010: All operations are digital and recording is fullly coordinated with the standards of NLS and the Library of Congress. 2012: Two additional recording booths are added make a total of three fully operational. 2016: Weekly news becomes a weekly news magazine now known as "The West Valley Talking News" and, late in the year, KRUVradiosun begins operations online as the dedicated "Voice of Valley Volunteers." The radio station features an eclectic musical playlist along with excerpted material from "The West Valley Talking News." It also features programs that tell the story of any and all (if possible) of the Maricopa "Valley of the Sun" volunteer-based agencies and services. 2018: Organizational growth continues with new volunteer job opportunities designed to support and enhance the services and purposes of RRRB, Inc.
We'll work with your schedule.
