Support the Enlisted Project (STEP) assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted Veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long-term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, education and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.
STEP is in need of a volunteer to help out with reception at the STEP's Orange County office. Because only one person currently works at this office, this opportunity is very easy, as the volunteer only needs to be seated at the front desk and occasionally answer phones. There is a lot of downtime for the volunteer to do homework or read a book, so this opportunity would be ideal for students and retirees.
Minimum timeframe is two days per week for 4 hours at a time during office hours. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
