Volunteer Physicians Needed Abroad

CMMB is seeking licensed doctors, surgeons, dentists, specialists, and physician assistants 21 years of age and older who can serve for a minimum of 6 months in:

Haiti * Peru * Kenya * Zambia * South Sudan

  • High need for physicians in the following specialties:
    • OB/GYN
    • Family, Internal, and Emergency Medicine
    • Pediatrics
    • Pharmacy
    • Dentistry and Dental Surgery
    • Urology
    • Anesthesiology
    • Opthomology
    • Orthopediatrics
  • Our volunteer physicians come from a variety of specialties and work directly with hospital leadership and clinical staff on health service delivery, capacity building, and various projects within the community setting.

Covid-19 Update: Due to Covid-19, CMMB has paused all field deployments until early 2021 as the countries we serve respond to this pandemic, and we are able to ensure the health and safety of our incoming field volunteers. Nonetheless, our commitment to support these communities remains, and we are eagerly waiting to be able to assist with the aftermath of this crisis when international travel is possible and safe. Building around a new CHAMPS (CHildren And Mother PartnershipS) model, CMMB works at both the community and clinical levels in these targeted communities to strengthen health services and address the leading causes of maternal and child death. CMMB has committed to develop 20 CHAMPS sites by 2020, incorporating at least 3 in Haiti, Kenya, Peru, South Sudan, and Zambia.
