We need Mad Stencilers to spray-chalk artoberVA stencils throughout Richmond and the surrounding counties! We "tag" arts and culture organizations with this stencil to celebrate artoberVA during October. Mad Stencilers will be given the addresses of assignments, generally on Thursdays and Fridays from September 27 - October 25 so we "tag" before weekend events.
The spray-chalk washes off with rain and we will have a permit for the Mad Stenciler should there be any concern.
You must be 18 or older, you must have a valid driver's license, and you must have transportation.
For volunteer groups: Stenciling is best done with one or two people. If you have a group, pair off to get the best coverage for an area. It's a large stencil, so it will need space in your vehicle. We recommend using one car per two stencilers. We can handle up to five pair of stencilers.
