Have you heard about the Living Arts and Science Center's Annual Day of the Dead event? If you haven't it's a massive event that will see anywhere between 2000-3000 community members in ONE NIGHT celebrating the cultural heritage of the Latino population here in Lexington.
BUT WE NEED YOU TO MAKE ALL THIS HAPPEN. Come to the LASC and help us...
-Create sugar skulls
-Create Tissue Paper Flowers
-Papel Picado
-And other hands-on activities
Every Tuesday of October from 3pm until 7:30pm we will be open for those who can come on by and help us get everything ready for this amazing event.
We will email you a form for shift sign-up. Feel free to register for multiple-shifts at that time!

The Living Arts & Science Center (LASC) is a not-for-profit organization providing creative and unique opportunities in the arts and sciences for children and adults. Founded in 1968, the LASC now serves over 40,000 individuals annually through art and science exhibits, classes, workshops and community programs. The LASC provides programs and services in our own facility as well as in schools, social service agencies, community centers, libraries and at community events.
