Want to make a difference in your community; then join us and volunteer at our Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes Event. Your participation will make a difference for the 30 million Americans affected by diabetes.

Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is a fundraising community event of the American Diabetes Association, expected to attract thousands of participants and volunteers. It is considered both a family and corporate event. Local and national companies and organizations often form teams and raise funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy.

There are many volunteer opportunities available beginning with, Route Signage and Festival set-up on Friday, October 19th. And, on the day of event, Saturday, October 20th, various shifts and assignments to choose from. We need about 250 volunteers help us ensure a safe and fun event for everyone. You can either volunteer for the entire day, or for just a couple of hours. Each volunteer will receive a free volunteer t-shirt, food and beverage and experience the day of festivities.
