ORGANIZATION: Tree House Humane Society

Purpose of Position:

PetPoint Data Entry Specialist volunteers will assist us in entering essential information into our PetPoint database for past residents of Tree House. In an effort to become organized and have resident information readily at hand, volunteers will help us to sort through our large number of paper files and translate them into the PetPoint database. As a PetPoint Specialist, you will be assisting with a very important project that will make daily operations at the shelter run more smoothly-which of course is better for the cats!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine pertinent information within past cat’s files
  • Accurately enter intake/adoption/medical information
  • Keep files organized/orderly
  • Effectively communicate any issues/oddities to Operations Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Past database experience required
  • Comfort in working on a computer
  • Detail-oriented
  • Attend PetPoint training
  • Weekday, 9am-5pm availability for training

Training Volunteer Will Receive:

  • Basic PetPoint training
