Volunteers for Community Impact

Food pantry

The mission of the St. Cloud Community Pantry is to reduce hunger in the St Cloud community by providing food to local residents in need. Local businesses in the area often have food to donate, but cannot deliver it to the pantry. This is where you come in! The pantry relies heavily on volunteer drivers who are willing to spend 2-3 hours a week to pick up the food directly from the businesses and deliver it to the pantry.

Looking for drivers for about 2 hours in the morning on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays. The pantry has a van if you have a clean driving record. If not, you can drive you own vehicle.

Our program is specifically geared to encourage volunteerism among those aged 55 and over; however, adult Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Are you 55 or older? Joining RSVP, a free membership, can provide you with additional support and benefits while you volunteer.

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with the St. Cloud Community Pantry to recruit volunteers. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!

Contact Volunteers for Community Impact to learn more about the benefits of volunteering through RSVP!
