ORGANIZATION: Volunteers for Community Impact

  • 6 people are interested

The mission of the St. Cloud Community Pantry is to reduce hunger in the St Cloud community by providing food to local residents in need. Local businesses in the area often have food to donate, but cannot deliver it to the pantry. This is where you come in! The pantry relies heavily on volunteer drivers who are willing to spend 2-3 hours a week to pick up the food directly from the businesses and deliver it to the pantry.

Looking for drivers for about 2 hours in the morning on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays. The pantry has a van if you have a clean driving record. If not, you can drive you own vehicle.

Are you energetic senior 55 or older looking to volunteer in your community? Join RSVP! The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is the largest volunteer organization for seniors in the US. As a member of AmeriCorps Seniors, you will be able to use the skills and knowledge you have acquired over the years to serve your community and have an positive impact on your neighbors in need.

Volunteers for Community Impact has been helping match seniors with the perfect volunteer opportunities for over 40 years in Central Florida. We are federally funded through the AmeriCorps, so our serves are 100% free! We also provide other support and benefits to our volunteers.
