Promote science and volunteer at a chemistry conference

ORGANIZATION: AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY Savannah River Section

As a volunteer at the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS), you will help with various tasks around the conference. The volunteering opportunities can be for a short term (2 hour) commitment or all day. Volunteer needs include
1) Helping with the registration table
2) Greeting conference attendees and helping with general directions
3) Wearing a mole mascot costume (candidate must be 5'7"-5'10" in height and weigh between 165-200 pounds)
4) Helping mascot navigate around conference and taking photos
5)Setting up and decorating for networking exhibition
4) Assisting with hands-on chemistry outreach demonstrations

Volunteers can sign up to help with multiple tasks and we can work around your availability.
