Community Resources' Academic Mentors Project creates opportunities for high achieving, ambitious 5th - 12th grade Denver Public School students who have a passion or interest in a particular topic to connect with community volunteers who share the same passion. We are currently recruiting a biomedical engineer or biomedical engineering student to work with an 8th grade male student. Are you interested in sharing what you love to do with a young person? If so, this volunteer opportunity is for you! Mentors are asked to commit to a total of six hours over the course of 3 to 6 meetings. All mentorships begin and end in the current school year.
