Family Services has two programs looking for volunteers to help with childcare:

1. One to two volunteers are needed to provide childcare on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm at the Ed Bohrer Parent Resource Center located at 35 N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg.

While parents attend an English class, the children need supervision as they color, read, and play in the kids' room of the Parent Resource Center. The PRC program director will be on hand, if needed for questions or support.

Volunteers 16 and older are welcome to apply. Volunteers should be dependable and enjoy interacting with children. Volunteers 18+ will be asked to complete a background check and submit a notarized CPS form, provided by Family Services.

2. One to two volunteers are needed provide childcare on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am-11:00am at the Linkages to Learning program at South Lake Elementary School located at 18201 Contour Road in Gaithersburg.

While parents attend an English class, the children need supervision as they color, read, and play. A Linkages staff person will also be helping with childcare.

Volunteers 18 and older are welcome to apply. Volunteers should be dependable and enjoy interacting with children. Volunteers will be asked to complete a background check and submit a notarized CPS form, provided by Family Services.
