NECAT is a non-profit that provides a free 4-month culinary arts job training program to chronically unemployed adults who face significant challenges, including prior incarceration, homelessness, substance abuse recovery, etc.
We are seeking musicians who would be interested in playing at our Donor Appreciation event on October 25th. The evening marks our 5th anniversary and we are celebrating the wonderful supporters who have helped our organization help so many individuals turn their lives around through out our first five years.
We are looking for some pleasant live music to liven up the atmosphere while guests mingle and enjoy drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres.
Perhaps you are a performance student, or a newly formed act who is looking to get some rehearsal experience in front of a live audience? Why not consider NECAT as a great practice run? While we can't pay you, we can ensure a delicious meal and you are welcome to pass out cards. We are expecting 150 guests and we will also promote your website or band name on all of our social media accounts.
Great gig for students or anyone interested in giving back.
