Goodwill Columbus Marathon Donation Pick-Up
Date: Sunday, October 21, 2018
Time: 6:30am-12:30pm (depending on weather, we could be done earlier)
Description: Join Goodwill Columbus as we cheer on this year’s Columbus Marathon racers! Each year, Goodwill Columbus partners with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon to pick up clothing dropped during the race by participating runners. It’s a great opportunity to be a part of the action, get a little exercise and help Goodwill recycle materials that help transform the lives of individuals with disabilities and other barriers. Every volunteer will receive a t-shirt and Chipotle coupon for participating.
Event Location: Race starts in Downtown Columbus. Parking directions and locations will be provided closer to the race. Parking Passes will be provided for volunteers.
Number of Volunteers Needed: 12
Age restrictions: 12 years and above
Deadline to Register as Volunteer: Morning of Friday, October 12, 2018
