Plant trees in newly depaved soon-to-be green space at the Fresh Start Grower Supply parking lot during TreeFest. We'll provide instruction on proper tree planting at 11am, and groups of volunteers will plant trees at 1007 E Jefferson and across the street at Home of the Innocents. How fast we finish planting depends on number of volunteers, but you can expect to plant 1 or 2 trees. These are large, 2" diameter balled and burlap (B&B) trees that will require some care in handling. The good news is it should be fairly uncomplicated to plant the trees in the newly placed soil. Refreshments provided, bring your own shovel, water bottle, and gloves.
