Overview: This is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the life of an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing 1-on-1 reading tutoring. Each of our learners is looking to improve their reading abilities in an effort to be a more active member of their community.
Responsibilities: Tutor a learner 1 time each week for 1 hour in the Rocklin library
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently and clearly
- Possess patience, flexibility, and excellent oral communication skills
- Age 18 or older
- Fingerprint clearance is required
Training and all materials are provided.
