Give back to military service members and their families by volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society! Our Client Services Assistants maintain our front desk, provide customer service, perform various business administration tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and process small loan applications. No previous experienced required! Training is provided for all volunteers. Build your skills in teambuilding, customer service, business administration, and leadership and grow your knowledge of the military pay system and local resources. Some military knowledge preferred.

This is a great match for military spouses looking to build their resumes and skills and/or make new connections! We rely on our volunteers to make giving back to our service members and their families a possibility!

The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.

Description

As a non-profit, volunteer service organization, we use both financial and non-financial resources to identify solutions to meet emerging needs. We help clients improve personal financial skills and encourage individual financial responsibility.
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society earned the Gold Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, and a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.
