Many hands make less work! At Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan, we always have opportunities available to volunteer and help the kids. We need support with all types of administrative tasks, such as putting together information packets for new visitors at our Wellness Center, processing hair donations, preparing for kids classes & activities, to event planning.
Volunteer times are usually scheduled for a 4-hour block during the business hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm yet we do have evening and Saturday availability.

Mission Statement
Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is a local, grassroots non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that reaches out to Michigan children and teens experiencing hair loss to help them regain self-esteem. The program assists young people, aged 3 through 18, with hair loss from cancer treatments, alopecia, trichotillomania and other conditions by providing age appropriate, custom-fitted wigs at no cost. We support these young people as they struggle for social acceptance based on physical appearance and helps kids improve their self-image by enabling them to look more like their peers. We are funded solely on the basis of contributions and gratefully accepts donations.

Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is committed to substantially improving the quality of life for children and teens experiencing hair loss, by responding to their need to improve attitudes and regain a positive self-image.
