The Hillsboro Police Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) provides 24/7 on-scene crisis support to victims of domestic violence. Through partnering with our patrol officers, DVRT volunteers are able to provides information and referrals to services, education about the criminal and civil justice process and safety planning for victims of domestic violence.
Requirement's:
- 18 years and older
-Successfully pass a background investigation
-Valid drivers license and access to a reliable and insured vehicle
-Volunteers must pass a 40 hour training (provided by Hillsboro Police Department)
-Monthly time commitment of 24 hrs
