The intern will work closely with the ESL Program staff to supplement program activities and enhance services to the students. Responsibilities include: assisting with ESL classes and the Family Literacy tutoring program; assisting in entering student data into various tracking systems; running reports regarding student and classroom performance; creating and implementing motivational strategies to encourage student success; developing online curriculum for use in ESL classes; attending ESL group events; developing and maintaining methods for measurement of student success and a curriculum effectiveness. Students with an interest in adult education, ESL or immigrant services are highly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French or other languages valued.

Schedule: Flexible M-F from 9 am - 5 pm minimum 8 hrs /wk
