Outreach Volunteers help Community Blood Center (CBC) with blood drive registration events, on-site donor recruitment at blood drives and donor appointment reminder calls. Their efforts help us increase donor turn-out by more than 30%, which helps make it possible for CBC to have the blood, plasma and platelets critically-ill patients need every week.
We're looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers who enjoy meeting people and chatting about the life-saving impact of donating blood.
Outreach Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 12 hours of service in your first six months as a volunteer. A completed application, interview/orientation are required and a background check will be conducted. Minimum age: 14
