SAHA is excited to once again be a part of a national effort to strengthen our community by promoting and bringing voter registration visibility to our communities on National Voter Registration Day! Help out with setting up food, knocking on doors to remind residents about the event, greet and direct residents as they come in, and help residents register to vote electronically or by paper forms with our residents at Casa Montego in Walnut Creek! You will need to RSVP and complete your volunteer forms to attend this event. We would love to see you there!
About SAHA: Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is committed to providing quality, service-enriched, affordable housing in the bay area. Our Community Eng agement Program aims to connect SAHA’s residents with the surrounding neighborhood through innovative, high impact, and responsive programs that forge mutually beneficial relationships. Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
