The All People's Fresh Market offers delicious, fresh produce to members, free of charge.
We took a former beer drive thru and turned it into a free fresh produce market on the South Side of Columbus. The All People's Fresh Market is a program of Community Development for All People's Healthy Eating and Living Initiative. The market's mission is to build community by sharing healthy, fresh food and bringing people together to engage in healthy living activities ranging from cooking classes to exercise sessions.
Most of the fresh food is being provided from the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Additional locally grown produce will be available from a variety of community gardens and nearby farms.
Volunteers will:
- Greet clients and create an environment of Radical Hospitality
- Help with cleaning, organizing, and stocking produce

Description
Creating a Community that Cares for All People
Chartered in 2003, The Church for All People grew out of the message of unconditional love offered by the Free Store and the atmosphere of hospitality it created. It is intentionally cross-class and multi-racial. The church welcomes each of us as we are, no matter who we are or what we have done, and offers an environment where each of us can grow in our discipleship and turn our lives toward the light.
The United Methodist Free Store
Since 1999 the Free Store has provided free clothing and household goods to anyone who seeks them, as an outward expression of god's unconditional love. Over 35,000 families are Free Store members and about $2 million worth of goods are given away each year.
Carrying Forth the Legacy of South Side Settlement House
