Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Medical Volunteers - This position requires volunteers to be at least 18 years of age and to have a current First Aid/CPR certification on file.
  • Individual Skills Assistant - These volunteers will work directly under the Individual Skills Coordinator to help facilitate each of the skills stations and clean up this portion of our competition.

  • Awards Assistant - An Awards Assistant will follow the Awards Coordinator in preparing or helping present awards. They will: Prepare awards for each heat/game, work alongside awards presenters, and help keep athletes organized to receive their awards.
  • Olympic Village Assistants - Under the supervision of the Olympic Village Coordinator, assistants will help set-up, engage athletes with games, and break-down at Olympic Village.
  • Fans In The Stands -- Fans In the Stands is a program which gives individuals and groups the opportunity to cheer on the athletes as valued spectators. Your enthusiasm, team spirit and cheering ability will encourage the athletes to do their best. Plus, you’ll witness the courage, determination, and joy of our athletes as they compete. Fans of all ages are welcome, and cheer gear such as signs and pom poms are encouraged. You can start a fan group at your school, attend the competitions and cheer on our athletes!

  • Photographer and/or Videographer - Depending on how many we have, these volunteers will be asked to either photograph a particular are or float around the entire event making sure to take memorable photos/videos of everyone at the event. This volunteer may be given a specific list of photo requests.

  • Media Relations - Should be knowledgeable in print and electronic media and have some contacts at radio and television stations and newspapers. This person should be able to access community resources and leaders and have exceptional communication and marketing skills.
