We are looking for 20 volunteers to join our American Cancer Society team on race day, October 13th, 2018!
The Hartford Marathon is upon us again and the American Cancer Society is once again an official charity partner. We will be volunteering again at bag check, same shift, same jobs! (5am-9:45am). Although the start time says 5am, 6am is more than sufficient. Just remember to leave time to sign in and grab breakfast in Bushnell Park. Also, last year, most volunteers were done by 9/9:30am. We have fun and work as a team to check and return bags to runners and cheer them on before they take on their big race!
- Receive volunteer swag at the Hartford Marathon
- Refreshments are provided for all volunteers
- Earn community service hours through HMF
- Overall satisfaction of giving back to the community - making a difference in another’s life!
