Thanksgiving Dinner At A Safe Haven

It’s that time of year again - A Safe Haven Foundation’s annual Thanksgiving Day Brunch!

Every year we serve our 400 residents in transitional housing a beautiful Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, and we would love for you to join us for this heart-warming tradition.

Here are the details for volunteering:

When: Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 22, 2018

Where: 2750 W Roosevelt Rd.

Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm

This is a very popular event, so spots are limited. Please RSVP by Friday, October 20 in order to reserve your spot!

A Safe Haven provides the tools for each individual to overcome the root causes of homelessness through a holistic and scalable model. Description

At A Safe Haven, we help homeless people who are in sudden or chronic social and financial crisis address the root causes of their problems, and we help them achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. For over 20 years we have provided individualized services. Since 1994, the collective impact of the public/private partnership efforts has resulted in A Safe Haven helps over 5,000 people each year to break the cycle of poverty and achieve financial independence with their pride, purpose and dreams restored.

Our unique comprehensive and integrated model and specialized programs help thousands of people every year from the following populations in need:

  • Military Veterans
  • Women with Children
  • Families
  • Youth (Ages 18-24)

Non-violent Criminal Justice Impacted Population including the following:

  • Court Mandated Diversion
  • Pre-Trial and Ex-Offenders
  • Single Adults
