This unique volunteer opportunity doesn't take much time, but it has a great impact! Volunteers are needed to spend 45 minutes with a senior who has early stages of dementia and during that time, to give the senior a standard evaluation. By going through some easy questions with them, we gather data for research, and the results of the "testing" are recorded. It's fast, it's easy, and the seniors really love the exercise and spending time with the volunteers. A mandatory one-day training is required. Time commitment after that is 2 45 minute sessions per month.
