On Saturday, Oct 6, 2018, thousands of people will converge on Sedgwick County Park to participate in the midwest's largest outdoor festival for people and their canine companions - Woofstock 2018.
Woofstock is the largest fundraising event for the Kansas Humane Society. The Kansas Humane Society is funded entirely by private donations, fees for service, and receives no funding from government entities, the United Way or the Humane Society of the United States. The proceeds from Woofstock help provide care and services for 16,000 pets each year.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Description
The Kansas Humane Society is Wichita's largest privately-funded, non-profit animal shelter organization: featuring pets for adoption, dog training classes, spay/neuter services, humane education, programs for kids, volunteer and foster opportunities, and a variety of fundraising programs.
