We are a non-profit founded to serve the most pressing needs of the community: Poverty, homelessness, and the loneliness and separation that feed them. We collect clothes to keep our friends warm and dry throughout the year, and deliver food to keep them well fed and well nourished.

On a deeper level, we emphasize care in everything we do. We meet each Sunday as friends and equals to plan, share a meal and perform our various tasks, and throughout the week we keep the spirit of service going as we each take on rewarding aspects of our organization. By providing love and service to our volunteers, they naturally do things that amaze us!

What we are looking for is anyone who truly wants to serve. If you have a burning heart, and want to bring joy back to our community, please come. We have need of any skill, from driving, cooking and manual labour, to expertise in strategic planning, marketing, computer science and graphic design.

As we work together, you will find yourself challenged to grow, explore new opportunities and passions, learn from other volunteers, and ultimately experience a community much larger than yourself. To quote a volunteer, "I get a lot more than I give working at Sufi Service. Whatever I give always somehow comes back to me, multiplied tenfold".
