The Sun City Library Bookstore is opening up after the pandemic and we need your help. Interact with other dedicated volunteers in a vibrant sales atmosphere. Help by processing donated books to sell in the bookstore. Sort, categorize, price, and shelve materials. Learn to be a cashier to take everything to a final sale. Hours are flexible. Give your time to a cause where you can see the results of your time. Be a volunteer of a very profitable bookstore where funds go to support the Sun City Library. The bookstore is the main fundraiser of Friends of the Sun City Library, a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization totally run by volunteers.

The purpose of the organization is to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; to stimulate gifts and bequests of books and money; and to provide financial assistance and to support volunteer in-library services needed to meet the library's daily operational requirements and material purchase.
The Friends of the Sun City Library is an auxilliary support group for the Sun City Library, Menifee, California. Our volunteers operate a bookstore and hold fundraisers, the profits from which support the library's programs and purchases of collection, media, and software.
