Lemondrop is looking for dedicated volunteers to help with Lawn Maintenance and Carpentry at the Farm Sanctuary in Gadsden County FL. This volunteer position would be ongoing, for minor fixes as they're needed.
We also need volunteers who would be willing to pick up food donations directly from stores and donors, then deliver the donations to a specific location(s).
Volunteers will need the following:
-To be able to pass a background check
-Have a drivers license
-Have a interview with Lemondrop's Florida Regional Director
-Willing and able to dedicate up to 2 hours per week/month/as needed of time to volunteering.
-Willing to use their own vehicle, gas, tools (etc as needed) in the course of volunteering.
What we need are people who will be willing to go to donate time to help with lawn maintenance with yard and hedge trimming. Also needed is donated help with carpentry as needed in repairs at the Farm Sanctuary with basic projects such as installing doors/door frames. Helping secure fencing in pens.
More details will be provided once a potential volunteer passes a background check (these are only done to ensure that volunteers have no history of violent behavior or trafficking).
