We are seeking volunteers for the East Bay Walk to End Alzheimer's event on Saturday, October 23rd. A *SAMPLE* of volunteer roles/shifts are as follows, but are subject to change.
Registration Assistance & Tech Support (6:30am-10:30am)
General Event Set-up (6:30am-9:30am)
Greeters & Event Concierge (7:00am-10am)
Promise Flower Garden (7am-10am)
Photographer/Videographers (8am-11:30am)
Event & Parking attendants (7:30am-9:30am)
Route Monitors and Cheer & Support Squad (8:30am-11:30am)
Walk route entertainment - Ex: singers, jugglers, acoustic musicians (8:30am-11:30am)
Grand Champion/Top Team Recognition (7am-10am)
Advocacy- 30-45 min prior training may be required (7:30am-10:30am)
General Event Breakdown (9:30am-12:30pm)

Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These strategic initiatives also strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis.
