The Alzheimer's Association seeks office support volunteers to support the work of the Public Policy and Advocacy department. The schedule is flexible and we welcome those seeking short- or long-term assignments.
Volunteers will be responsible for entering constituent data from advocacy pledge cards collected at Association events into Excel spreadsheets, so that they may be uploaded into our database. The Association uses this contact info to recruit new Alzheimer's volunteer Advocates and Alzheimer's Impact Movement members.
This assignment is ideal for students or other individuals seeking community service hours. Interested individuals should contact Zack Smith at zsmith@alz.org or call 408.372.9938.

Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity.
