Support the Workforce Development program as Volunteer Job Mentor! The Volunteer Job Mentor will work one-on-one with students enrolled in our GED preparation, child care, and computer courses. The Volunteer Job Mentor will help clients navigate the job search cycle by assisting with job applications, resumes, cover letters, and mock interviews.
Must commit to 2 hours per week with a fixed schedule (preferred Mondays from 10AM-12PM or Mondays from 5:30- 7:30PM) for workshops, plus an additional 2-3 hours per week with a flexible schedule for one-on-one mentoring (off location or remote work possible).

Description
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
