Family Camp

OFFICE SUPPORT- Photocopying, typing, filing, data entry, mailing, preparing materials for education programs, outreach events, or fundraising events.

EVENT SUPPORT- Wheelchair Drive, Wheelchair Transfer, Walk N Roll, Director’s Dinner

CAMP SUPPORT- Two weeks in the summer we are at camp. One week in June and one in July.

Volunteers can work a few hours weekly or be "on-call" for special projects. Office experience not needed. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 5. Must be at least 14 years old.

To communicate the gospel and equip Christ honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities.

Description

Joni and Friends offers the following prgrams:

Family Retreat Summer Camp

  • The entire family has the opportunity for respite, fun, and fellowship. Campers with special needs are buddied with a Short-Term Missionary for the week.

Wheels for the World

  • We collect wheelchairs, walkers, canes, scooters, etc., then send them to correctional facilities for refurbishing. They're then delivered to countries worldwide by individuals who volunteer with our ministry.
  • Chair Corps volunteers help deliver donations to and from our storage trailers.

Respite

  • Parents/caregivers can drop off their child with a disability and their siblings with our trained volunteers for 3-4 hours. They have this free time for themselves. The children play, sing, snack, and just have fun!
