Volunteer Roles: Registration, T-shirt distribution, Food/Beverage, Sign set up, Photo area, Kids activities.
You will be at the registrationtable. At the registration table, there will be two roles: t-shirt distributors and volunteers to check-in our walkers. Volunteers will be divided into these two roles at the event. Check-in volunteers will greet the participants as they arrive, mark them as present and call out their t-shirt size. T-shirt distributors will grab the correct t-shirt size as it’s called out.
In addition, we are looking for volunteers to work in the Food/Beverage, Sign set up, Photo area, Kids activities and general logistical help. Those duties range from helping out in the kids area activities, set up of the food/beverage area, putting signs along the walk route and then brining the signs back after the walk (you are the last walker and pick up signs as you go), helping folks in the photo area with props/picture taking and general help getting set up or packing up when the walk is over.
Special request:
We are looking for some volunteers who are early birds and are available/willing to join the RGA Development Department at 7:30 am to set up the event. In addition, we will be doing clean up at 1:30 and could always use help packing up all of the RGA items to return to the office. Please let me know if you're willing to help us with this!
