Looking to gain job experience in a retail setting? You've come to the right place!
Community Threads is a 100% non-profit resale store that uses volunteer labor to process and sell donated goods. The profits raised by Community Threads benefit local ministries including Home of the Sparrow. Home of the Sparrow provides housing and resources to homeless women and children.
Community Threads has successfully trained and provided work environments for numerous people. We are able to train individuals in customer service, cashiering, and help them enhance workplace skills. Whether you are between jobs, looking to gain experience before pursuing a job, or simply want to volunteer-Community Threads has a place for you!
Our cashier training program is now accepting volunteers for the following days and times:
Mondays 4pm-7pm
Tuesdays 10am-1pm
Wednesdays 1pm -4pm
Thursdays 10am-1pm
Reach out to us if you are interested! Background checks are required but paid for by Community Threads.
