Premier Hospice has Spanish speaking patients that are in need of a volunteer for companionship in Peoria. Volunteers offer companionship and support to patients by reading a book, playing cards, writing letters, going for walks, or assisting with translation as needed by the patient and team. Volunteer must be bilingual English/Spanish.
Premier Hospice provides free training for all volunteers, and most of the training in done online!

Premier Hospice integrates Volunteers into the hospice program by actively recruiting, training, supporting, and utilizing Volunteers to meet the needs of the patient and family. Volunteers are a highly respected and valued member of the Patient Care Team.
Description
Premier Hospice provides hospice services to patient's with a terminal illness and a life expectancy of six (6) months or less.
Hospice services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, (including Holidays), if needed, and are provided in the comfort of the patient's home, ("home" may be a skilled nursing facility, group home, assisted living complex, or a private residence).
A team of professionals, including a Physician, Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and a Volunteer, is assigned to each patient, and will provide individualized care based on the needs of the patient and family.
Premier Hospice serves patients that reside in Maricopa County.
