The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department and Dorothea Dix Park are hosting the 1st Annual FallFest at Dix Park. The event will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 11:00am-4:00pm. The event will feature a family-focused atmosphere with food/drinks, live entertainment, kids and adult activities, so much more!

Volunteer Impact: Volunteers will be helping to proved an exceptional experience for all event attendees.

Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will be helping to run games and activities, as well as acting as greeters.

Work Environment: This is a large outdoors event. There will be uneven ground and the possibility of loud noises and crowds. Restrooms will be on site.

Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate. All volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer release form. Any volunteers under the age of 18, will need to have a parent or guardian sign their form as well. This will be emailed to all registered volunteers prior to the event.

Registration Information: Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. A group leader must email mary.owen@raleighnc.gov to register. All groups will be required to provide a list of names and emails for their volunteers.

Per department policy, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed/ suggested community service hours.
