***next meeting is on September 19th from 5:30-6:30 pm***

Because Texas Humane Heroes isn't a government shelter, we don't receive the money that other shelters do. We function as a nonprofit, completely donation and grants based. We are looking for anyone who would like to join our Volunteer Grants Committee to help us expand our committee and save more animals. We meet monthly at the Adoption Center. If you have an interest in grant writing, formal writing, foundations, LOI's, or research, we could really use your help! If you don't know anything about grants but are still eager to learn more, please come! We can use any help we can get and will definitely find a task for everyone.

We're ideally looking for people who would like to commit to coming more than just once - although please feel free to come try it and if you don't think it's for you, that's totally fine. We are trying to build up our committee with regular members for the monthly meetings.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to speak to me more about the Grants Committee. Our next meeting is on September 19th from 5:30-6:30 pm. This meeting will last about an hour.
