Let's bring some positive energy to the homeless community by throwing a Halloween dinner party at the Embry Rucker Shelter on Oct 20th!
Here are some more details..
Who: We will be serving about 50-100 homeless people. In order to participate you must be over 18 years of age.
What: Please bring a Halloween themed dish to this event! Every volunteer should prepare a meal at home and then bring that prepared meal to the shelter. Each volunteer should bring a dish that can serve 20-30. Here is a link with some dish ideas:

Where: Embry Rucker Shelter, 11975 Bowman Towne Dr, Reston, VA 20190
When: 10/20 - Dinner starts at 5PM, so let's get there by 4:30 to set up.
Also.. Since it is Halloween.. it's a REQUIREMENT that everyone wear a Halloween costume :)

From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
