The Boys & Girls Club Bremerton Branch is seeking volunteers to help mentor students and teach techniques that build social and emotional learning.
Duties:
- Sit with kids at their 'Rainbow Table' and engage with them in activities designed to redirect and focus their attention.
- Activities include coloring, rubix cubes, dominoes, etc.
- Engage in conversation that help kids recognize their emotions and gain self-awareness.
- Patience working with children.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a high energy environment.
- Ability to work with youth from a variety of backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Various shifts available Monday - Friday between 3:30- 6:00 p.m.
Minimum commitment 1 hour 1 day per week for 6 weeks

Is your talent in planning special events? Participate in the Legacy of HOPE, Treasure Hunters, Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament, Dining with the stars Celebrity Chef Gala or a variety of other events.
