SWEDEMOM CENTER OF GIVING

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 1 person is interested

We are looking for a few people that have a few hours a week to join our MacHub team in McMinnville, OR. Please learn more about MacHub at MacHub.org and how the organization helps to create jobs and keep items out of landfills to contribute to a healthier environment. If you wish to help make the community a better place MacHub is a great place to start.

Our need is for people to join with our sort crew as part of our MacHub Production team. After the donations are sorted we look for the best way to re-purpose with our nonprofit partners. We also digitally intake higher value items into our proprietary web-based system, post the item for sale through our online marketplace.

Come join our team and let's do some good together.

Mission Statement

To help charitable organizations embrace a new model to create financial stability by turning material donations into cash through a proprietary e-commerce platform.

Description

Swedemom Center of Giving - SCOG, for short - was launched in September 2016. We have extended our unique fund-raising services to nonprofit organizations in Oregon, Illinois, and, soon, other states.

Swedemom Center of Giving provides specialized financial assistance to other nonprofits through the Swedemom LLC online sales platform. Our nonprofit partners collect donations of quality goods, sell them on the nationwide Swedemom platform, and become self-sustaining hubs that generate funds for their charitable programs. We call that a "Causal Hub."

Some Causal Hubs become "Community Hubs," which pull other community nonprofit organizations into a network that helps all of the groups raise needed funds.

Swedemom Center of Giving is passionate about making a difference in the financial stability of charitable organizations. We invite you to look through this website and contact us at our headquarters in McMinnville, Oregon.
