Volunteers will come to the school and read with the children for as little as 30 minutes once a week, or as long as 1 hour twice a week We will work with each volunteer to match their schedule as best as we can.
You will meet with the same child every time you volunteer. This makes it possible for a friendship to form and for children thrive.

Description
We are an amazing team who work with the community, parents, and faculty to educate children and prepare them to succeed in all aspects of life.
We have a partnership with AmeriCorps to bring in volunteers to help children become better readers. When a child reads well, all areas of his or her life improves. This includes grades, self-esteem, and friendships. They behave better in school when they receive this one on one tutoring, and positive reinforcement.
