We are looking for several volunteers to serve as volunteer greeters. They will be assisting in greeting visitors, patients, and staff as they enter the facility. They will assist visitors locate patients throughout the hospital.

Description
Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a division of LIJ Medical Center, is a 312 bed community hospital located in Forest Hills, Queens. It was initially known as LaGuardia Hospital until 1996 when we merged with North Shore University Hospital. We treat over 55,000 patients a year, providing exceptional inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care and obstetrics and gynecology services. The hospital is designed as a Level II Perinatal Center and our Emergency Department is certified heart station as well as a New York state designated Stroke Center. Our clinical programs cover a wide range of specialty areas, including cardiology, laboratory services, gastroenterology, general medicine, radiology, urology, would care, women and children's health and wellness, and many more.
