Serving a meal to those experiencing homelessness is a fun, rewarding and very manageable volunteer opportunity! With friends, family or coworkers, plan a menu using your favorite recipes or recipes from Simpson, purchase groceries, cook and serve a meal to approximately 110 shelter guests. Dinner is served at 7:00 p.m. Please go to our on-line meal volunteer calendar (www.simpsonhousing.org) to see what dates are available to serve dinner at the shelter!
We will work with you to make ti as easy as possible. From planning the menu, to figuring out portions, to orienting yourself to the kitchen, we will be there to make sure you have a meaningful and successful evening.

We are committed to Housing First: house people quickly, then provide services as needed.
We operate over 20 programs for three distinct groups of participants:
- shelter programs for single adults without children
- housing programs for single adults without children
- housing programs for families with children
