Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum
Become a PlayHouse volunteer!

Big Picture Festival in Peoria’s Warehouse District is about Big Art- live mural painting, a community paint-by-number mural, children's projects, interactive public art, live music, dance cyphers, performances, street artists, moving inflatable sculptures, a film festival, and food. The purpose of the Big Picture Festival is to raise funds to hire teaching artists in Peoria schools, after-school programs, and community centers. Help the Big Picture Initiative brighten the future of children in our community and enliven our city with more public art.

At the festival, volunteers will help kids look at and respond to famous works of art. Then kids can make their own! No art experience necessary but a love for creating (and maybe getting a bit messy) is a plus!
