Greetings!

Companion Health Group is looking for Volunteers to provide companionship for our terminally ill Clients. Volunteers will be doing the following:

-Bedside reading
-Bedside music therapy
-Assist with light home cleaning
-Run Errands
-Call Clients for social and bereavement care
-Mail letters
-Administrative assistance
-Survey calls

We have incentives that include:
-Certificate of training for hospice volunteer
-Certificate of excellence based on performance
-Meal and gas cards
-Letter of recommendation (if necessary)

Hospice Volunteer Training is a program where we select qualified persons who can fit well with patients who have a terminal illness through several organizations. We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.

Description

Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
